A surprise 1-1 draw with Olympic-bound Nigeria in the Inter-Continental Cup Under-23 football tournament at the MBPJ Stadium in Kelana Jaya last night.

Fancied Nigeria took the lead through Okorowanta Bernard in the 10th minute and appeared to have done enough to win the match with their strong hold on the game.

Nigeria, who beat Ireland 3-1 in their opening match on Friday, have four points and they top the group on better goal difference than Ireland, who drew 0-0 in the other match at the KL Football Stadium last night.
